Kathy Turner-Naso 1942-2017

Kathleen Turner-Naso, age 74, died on April 16, 2017 at her home in Venice, FL surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Christmas day 1942 in Kansas City, MO and died on Easter Sunday.

Kathy was a longtime resident of Florham Park and East Hanover New Jersey, retiring to Florida in 2008. Kathy was an avid bowler, an amazing cook, a small business owner, volunteer, and world class mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend to everyone who knew her. Her smile lit up the room and the lanes. Her laugh was contagious and her warmth and generosity defined her life at every step. She had a truly unique gift for making everyone feel special with a quick glance and a signature Kathy wink she could make you feel like you were the most important and most loved person on the planet.

As a young girl, she moved with her family from Missouri to Seattle to Chicago, eventually settling in Florham Park, NJ. She graduated from Hanover Park High School in 1960. She met and married David Turner and raised a beautiful family. After his passing, she married Frank Naso of Newark, NJ and is survived by her companion Dick Melling. In addition, she is survived by daughters Debbie Rudtke of Alachua, FL, Jill Ayers of Northport, FL and Sue Turner of New York, NY; grandchildren Lauren and Jon Rudtke and Emily Ayers; sisters Carol Kinsman of Little River SC and Mary Slavin of Boston MA. She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Edna Dailey, husbands David Turner and Frank Naso, daughter Laura Turner, and brother Frank Dailey.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 4pm on April 18th in Venice, Fl at the Kays Ponger & Uselton funeral home. A celebration of her life will follow at her home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
